2020 Prom

Saturday, May 16, 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm

Tickets on sale:

March 23 through May 8: $75 with ASU card and $90 without. Guest contracts for all guest accepted at the time of purchase.

Tickets sold May 9 through May 15…$85 with ASU card and $100 without. On May 14 & 15, guest contracts for a guest not currently enrolled full time at a high school are no longer accepted at this time.

Guest contracts must be turned in completed when purchasing tickets. No guest ticket may be purchased online. Dana student must purchase both their ticket and the guest ticket at the Activities window

  • Tickets may be purchased at the Activities window before school, break and lunch and after school until 3:00pm.
  • MAKE CHECKS PAYABLE TO: Dana Hills High School.
  • Sorry, no refunds available after 3:00pm on May 14, 2020. Tickets may not be transferred from any student to another without expressed written permission from both the parent of the student and from an assistant principal. To transfer the ticket, a refund is issued to the first ticket holder and then it is re-sold to the second ticket holder. Money does not pass from one ticket holder to another.

Prom Code of Conduct and School Policy

  1. The 2019 Prom Dance will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at the Phoenix Club in Anaheim. The dance begins at 8:00 p.m. and end at 11:00 p.m. NO STUDENTS WILL BE ADMITTED AFTER 8:30 P.M. UNLESS PRIOR ARRANGEMENTS HAVE BEEN MADE WITH THE ACTIVITIES DIRECTOR, MR. NEDLER. Parents will be notified if their child does not check in. If you are unable to attend, please call the Activities Office (during school hours) 949–496–6666, ext. 11022.
  2. Students may not leave the dance until 10:00 p.m. Those who leave at 10:00 p.m. or after will not be readmitted.
  3. Students must be picked up within 15 minutes of the conclusion of all dances. Students being left at the venue longer than 15 minutes past the conclusion of the dance will not be allowed to attend their next formal dance.
  4. District policy states that all guests must be UNDER the age of 20 years and 11 months and middle school students may not attend. Dana Hills students and their guests must complete the guest contract and are required to abide by all school rules and the terms of the contract. Anyone exhibiting disruptive behavior will be removed from the dance, parents will be notified, and no refunds will be given.
  5. According to Board Policy 5144.1, "Students are to be recommended by the school principal for expulsion if they are found: Possessing, using, or being under the influence of any controlled substance, alcoholic beverage, or intoxicant of any kind." Students who are in violation of this policy will be suspended and recommended for expulsion. The sheriff will be notified, and the parents will be called to escort their child home. A breathalyzer may be used to test students suspected to be under the influence of alcohol.
  6. Students may be checked by private security for illegal or controlled substances prior to entry to the dance area. Any student who refuses to be checked will be denied entry.
  8. All students must present their student ID at the registration table. All guests must present their high school ID or valid picture identification to be admitted to the dance.
  9. Trading or selling of ticket between students is not allowed.
  10. Students removed or denied entry will not be given refunds. In these cases, parents will be called.
  11. Any student who is dancing inappropriately may be removed from the dance and lose privileges to attend future activities and disciplinary actions may be taken.
  12. Students who violate the terms of this contract are subject to suspension from school and loss of privileges to participate in any co-curricular and extracurricular activities including athletics, senior activities, and possibly commencement exercises. The DHHS student and his/her parent are responsible for the guest's behavior. If there is a problem with a guest, the Dana Hills student will lose the privilege to bring a guest to any future Dana Hills dance.
  13. We will be serving an assortment of desserts, fruits, water and soft drinks throughout the evening.
  14. TICKETS MUST BE PURCHASED BY 3:00pm ON FRIDAY, May 15, 2020. Please note the pricing structure for this event.
  15. No refunds will be issued after 3:00pm on Thursday, May 14, 2020.

Your ID Card is Your Ticket to the Dance-Don't Forget It

All Dana Hills students must have their current student ID cards to check into the event. If you do not have your current year ID card, please make sure you have downloaded the Dana Hills app (available only on iPhones) and have the barcode, along with your picture from Aeries available.
