Lemon Club

Welcome to The Lemonaid Club!

Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation

Our club is an extension of Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation. This foundation provides communities all over the country with the opportunity to contribute to the fight against pediatric cancer research by holding events.

Our Mission

The purpose of The Lemonaid Club is to raise awareness and funds for pediatric cancer research by selling lemonade. We look forward to helping the community while enabling Dana Hills students to contribute to a positive cause. Our plan is to attend home sporting events, and sell lemonade to athletes and their supporters. View the attached calendar for all upcoming events. Contact our instagram page @dhhslemonaidclub or Club President, Leah Boskovich, at leah.boskovich@gmail.com for all questions.

Alexandra Scott's Story

Before the age of one, Alexandra Scott was diagnosed with neuroblastoma, a form of childhood cancer. Alex persevered through her cancer as she learned to walk and developed her strength against all odds. When she was about four years old, the doctors discovered the cancer had come back, and treatment would have to begin again. As Alex was going through treatment, she told her mother that she wanted to hold a lemonade stand, and give the funds to the doctors that were by her side through it all. Alex and her family held lemonade stands in their front yard to benefit pediatric cancer research, and her story touched the hearts of people all around the world. After raising over one million dollars, Alex, at the age of eight, passed away, and to this day her family and supporters around the globe continue her legacy through Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation.

Community Service Project

The Lemon Club aids the community by contributing raised funds to pediatric cancer research. By displaying our stand and the pamphlets provided by AlSF, we educate the Dana Point community, and explain how they can participate in the fight against pediatric cancer. Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation distributes the funds in order to support research centers and families battling cancer.

Our first event was the Pink Out football game on October 27th. It was a great success, and we are all excited for the year ahead. If you are interested in contributing to our cause, please contact the club officers listed on this page or our instagram account @dhhslemonaidclub.
