In the fall of 1997, she joined the English faculty at Dana Hills High School after teaching a year of middle school. Since that time, she has been actively engaged in helping students think critically, write thoughtfully and cogently, and express themselves creatively. She believes that students work best in cooperative settings and strives to ensure that all students are engaged in the learning process. She has served as the advisor for the California Scholarship Federation since 2000, as the WASC Coordinator since 2005, and as the English Department Chair since 2006. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with family and friends.
