Fire Relief Efforts Continue

Dear Dolphin Families,

As you may be aware, within the last few weeks, California’s hillsides have been ravaged by catastrophic wildfires, the largest in California state history.  With the death toll at fifty-nine and more than 52,000 people evacuated from their homes, both the Woolsey and Campfires have devastated communities in Butte, Ventura, and Los Angeles County, separating families from loved ones and childhood homes.  Abrupt evacuations have left families scrambling, some paying costly fees for hotel rooms and others even taking temporary shelter in Walmart parking lots. The quick eruption of flames has even led homeowners to release farm animals and pets on nearby beaches, lacking any transportation or housing for their animals.  

In these dire times, all donations, no matter how small, are greatly appreciated, in order to help struggling families get back on their feet.  Below are listed a few resources that directly benefit people affected by the California wildfires.

About Us


Dana Hills High School exemplifies a commitment to a challenging and comprehensive curriculum that prepares students for the world beyond high school.  Located near the ocean in picturesque Dana Point, the school opened in 1973 and currently has an enrollment of nearly 2600 students in grades 9-12.  The community is composed of a majority of families with parents who are college graduates employed in professional and semi-professional occupations.  The mission of Dana Hills High School is to provide a safe, supportive, stimulating, and creative educational environment; high academic standards; respect for diversity; and an emphasis on learning, life skills, personal accountability, and problem solving in collaboration with parents and the community.
