Surfrider Foundation

Description of Club

Our Dana Hills Surfrider club is a "branch" of the Surfrider Foundation who's mission is to bring awareness to the issues facing our ocean. We follow this mission and do what we can to make a change. Our main event is beach cleanups where we walk down beaches, picking up trash along the way, while at the same time making new friends and enjoying our beautiful ocean.

Community Service Project

For our community service project, we assisted the Surfrider Foundation in making the city of Dana Point smoke-free through our urban cleanup! This helps our ocean life remain safe, keeps our beaches cigarette-toxin free, and keeps our town beautiful!
