Girls Basketball | Ann Honey

This is Coach Honey’s third season as Head Coach of the Dolphins and her 15th year of head coaching basketball at the youth and high school levels.

At Dana Hills, Coach Honey has started building a high school girls basketball program based on her coaching philosophy of positive attitude, work ethic, self-confidence, team & perseverance. Coach Honey is a 1990 graduate of UC San Diego where she played four years of collegiate basketball and served as team captain her senior year. She graduated from Redwood High School, in Visalia, California in 1985 and played both basketball and softball. Coach Honey is also a 1993 graduate of University of Pacific’s McGeorge School of Law and practiced law for seven years before taking time off to start a family. She and her husband Doug have three children, Matthew, a sophomore at UC San Diego who plays water polo; Megan, a junior at Dana Hills who plays basketball and swims; Jason, a 6th grader, who loves playing water polo and of course, basketball. Coach Honey is extremely proud of her family and her team!
