Hi, my name is Michelle Zides and I am excited to be a part of the Dana Hills Pod.  I graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo with a degree in Animal Science.  I earned my teaching credential in Biological Sciences from Cal State San Bernardino and ultimately my Master’s degree and PPS Credential in school counseling from Azusa Pacific University.  Prior to becoming a school counselor I taught Biology and AVID at the high school level and am proud to have been in education for almost twenty years.

I grew up in southern California and graduated from the Capistrano Unified School District.  When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my husband and family traveling all over the world.  Our favorite destinations have been Alaska, the Caribbean, Hawaii, and Kenya.  I love animals, have a tarantula for a pet, and enjoy horseback riding.  I look forward to working with the students and families of Dana Hills High School.  Go Dolphins!

Hi! My name is Jessica Bovee and I am excited to be back at Dana Hills High School this year. Before coming to DHHS, I worked at Northwood High School, in Irvine doing intervention counseling and previous to that I managed the academic department of a private company that provided support services for college students with special needs. I also tutored high school students for over 5 years and completed my school counseling internship at Corona del Mar High School.  I earned my BA in Psychology from UC Irvine and my MA and PPS credential in School Counseling from Azusa Pacific University.

When I am not working I enjoy planning and going on trips, walking my chihuahua, spending time with family and friends and looking for any excuse to celebrate!
