Your ID Card is Your Ticket to the Dance-Don't Forget It

ALL DANA HILLS STUDENTS MUST HAVE THEIR CURRENT STUDENT ID CARDS TO CHECK INTO THE EVENT. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE ONE, PLEASE STOP BY THE ACTIVITIES OFFICE TO PURCHASE A REPLACEMENT FOR $10. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE YOUR ID CARD WITH YOU AT THE DANCE, A REPLACEMENT ID CARD WILL BE PRINTED FOR YOU AND YOU WILL BE ASSESSED A $10 FEE TO YOUR ACCOUNT.

2017 Prom

Saturday, April 29, 2017   8:00 pm to 11:30 pm

 

  1. The 2017 Prom will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at the City National Grove of Anaheim, located at 2200 E. Katella, Anaheim, CA 92806. The dance begins at 8:00 p.m. and end at 11:30 p.m. NO STUDENTS WILL BE ADMITTED AFTER 9:00 P.M. UNLESS PRIOR ARRANGEMENTS HAVE BEEN MADE WITH THE ACTIVITIES DIRECTOR, MR. NEDLER. Parents will be notified if their child does not check in. If you are unable to attend, please call the Activities Office (during school hours) 949–496–6666, ext. 2200.
  2. Students may not leave the dance until 10:30 p.m. Those who leave at 10:30 p.m. or after will not be readmitted.
  3. Semi-Formal attire is required. Ladies may wear dress slacks and blouse or dresses, and gentlemen must wear dress shirt and dress slacks along with a coat and tie. Beach type sandals, combat boots, shorts, corduroy and jeans are not allowed. Dress code applies to school dances. Please visit http://www.dhhs.net/wf2017 for more details.
  4. According to Board Policy 5144.1, "Students are to be recommended by the school principal for expulsion if they are found: Possessing, using, or being under the influence of any controlled substance, alcoholic beverage, or intoxicant of any kind." Students who are in violation of this policy will be suspended and recommended for expulsion. The sheriff will be notified, and the parents will be called to escort their child home. A BREATHALYZER MAY BE USED TO TEST STUDENTS SUSPECTED OF BEING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL.
  5. Students may be checked by private security for illegal or controlled substances prior to entry to the dance area. Any student who refuses to be checked will be denied entry.
  6. ANY vehicle, including limousines, can be searched. ALL PASSENGERS WILL BE HELD RESPONSIBLE AND GIVEN CONSEQUENCES FOR ANY ILLEGAL STUBSTANCE IN THE VEHICLE.
  7. Trading or selling of bids is not allowed.
  8. All students must present their student ID at the registration table. All guests must present their valid high school ID or a valid picture ID such as their driver's license to be admitted to the dance.
  9. Students removed or denied entry will not be given refunds. In these cases, parents will be called.
  10. Student who are dancing inappropriately may be removed from the dance and lose privileges to attend future activities and disciplinary actions may be taken.
  11. Students who violate the terms of this contract are subject to suspension from school and loss of privileges to participate in any co-curricular and extracurricular activities including athletics, senior activities, and possibly commencement exercises.
  12. No changes will be accepted to this contract.
  13. TICKETS MUST BE PURCHASED BY 3:00pm ON FRIDAY, APRIL 21, 2017. Please note the pricing structure for this event.
  14. No refunds will be issued after 3:00pm on April 21, 2017.

    THE PURCHASING STUDENT MUST HAVE A VALID ASU CARD WHEN THE PURCHASE IS MADE IN ORDER TO GET DISCOUNTED PRICE. GUEST CONTRACTS MUST BE APPROVED BEFORE GUEST TICKET IS PURCHASED.
