Student Senate

Student Senate Funds

Student Senate has voted to use this years funds on a school beautification project.  A student designed mural will be placed inside the school.

Winter Formal Theme

On October 16, Senate voted for a Glow in the Dark Winter Formal Theme!

Prom Theme

On March 11, Senate voted on this year's Prom theme.  Prom will be held at Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach.  The theme is:

School Beautification Fund

The Student Senate is allotted $5,000 in funds dedicated to the improvement of the campus. Tell your Student Seantors what you would like to see done with this money so that it can be discussed at our next meeting.

Senate Training Days

All student senators must attend a training day! They will be held in Mr. Wigglesworth's room (919)

Student Senate Mission Statement

The goal of the Student Senate is to give all students a voice in which student activities are held and how they are to be run. Also the Student Senate is designed to allow students to identify various problems around campus and make sure that the school administration is aware of the students' wishes.

Budget Update

Senators who did not attend our last meeting, here is an update of suggestions given on how to spend this year's allocated $5,000 budget.

1. Adding a "Students Only" sign to the senior parking lot.

2. Giving each student on campus a water bottle

3. More trash and recycle receptacles around campus.

4. Putting it towards AC units around campus.

5. Water fountain/ bottle refilled station near the stadium, or in the 900's buildings

6. Replanting the hillside next to the stadium.

7. Adding a camera to the parking lot

8.  Mural or Painting in front of school
